Early interactions influence how we perceive relationships, ourselves, how we interact and interpret other people verbal and nonverbal communication. These early interactions attachment styles and social learning theory teach us about what is "normal" expected, safe, unsafe, our value, morals, how we fit in in the world, and more. My goal is to help you create healthy relationships with yourself, and the people in your life. This can look like identifying and maintain boundaries, challenging negative core beliefs, processing trauma, increasing coping skills. Many individuals have experienced traumatic event and continue to have intrusive symptoms: anxiety, fear, intrusive thoughts, nightmares, dissociation, and hopelessness. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Sometimes depression and anxiety is so slow moving, that you do not realize something is wrong until you don't feel like yourself anymore. It's common to experience depression and anxiety with the various up's and downs of life. We can help you identify what the slippery slop was, so that you can start making, and choosing choices that support your mental health.

We provide evidence based treatment and affirming care, such as letter writing for gender affirming health care. We are here to help you explore and identify what you want for yourself, and in the context of various relationships.
Having a child no matter how you conceived (adoption, pregnancy, or even being a foster parent) is a life changing experience that can lead to complicated emotions and experience with your self, your child, and your partner. We specialize in treating depression, anxiety, OCD, miscarriage, infertility, relationship difficulties, and birth trauma.
Counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen and repair their connection. Whether that be in the beginning, after life changes, or conflict arises. We utilize Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman, and sex therapy to help the couple work to achieve their goals for their relationship.
